ABOUT US
Social Development Forum (SDF) is a non-Government Organization established in 2012. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 working dedicatedly in the rural development sector. For a decade the NGO had been in close coordination with various communities with a target to reduce the gap between the privileged and underprivileged. The organization was started by providing education to students belonging to the financially weaker sections of society and now it works across various social issues. The NGO also provides support and a platform for alternative sources of income by creating awareness to uplift the social status of the concerned. Anti-tobacco, road safety campaigns, flood mitigation, etc are to name a few of the other activities done by the NGO.

Each and every person is equal and has every right to live in our society with dignity. Conservation of the environment, wildlife, and natural resources for the present and future generations in a manner consistent with the aspiration of the country for growth and development.
OUR VISION
To work for deprived people for their upliftment and betterment with special emphasis on children, women and to provide them with livelihood opportunities and bring them into the mainstream of society.
OUR MISSION
The organization was formed with an objective of spreading education among the financially weak students, providing awareness and training on alternative sources of income and awareness on the usage of modern technology in our day to day life and hence uplifting the social status of the area.
OUR OBJECTIVES
In the due course of six years, SDF has successfully completed various training programs and awareness programs among the natives. SDF has also been actively circulating academic course books among students of various faculties for the last six years; hence promoting literacy.SDF has also collaborated with NRL on many projects, among which the construction of a Rural Library to help the natives get easy access to books and enhance knowledge is being primed. SDF has been praised for its efforts to the upliftment of society and is well accepted among the natives.
